This is a downloadable copy of Version 3 from The Emotion Series. I call her Anxiety as you can see in this 3rd version I didn’t go for too much in the face I wanted to really show how Anxiety can coincide with those sad feelings so that is why she is blue with very simple features. You will find this was a more textured original where her tears are from beads.
The background on this portrait is what really makes this painting from her head you can see thoughts exploding from her brain but if you look closely it may have been said and done. She tries to cover with band-aids, you see but they cant fix what’s been done. That is why her shirt is made from glass shards as words stung like knives but she doesn’t let that prevail as beneath their sharp blades come beautiful flowers that are growing.
with pain comes growth which in return shows that no matter our past we remain beautiful.
